Activity log
RegistroViajero keeps an immutable activity log of every relevant action in your agency. It is the evidence that proves you have complied with Royal Decree 933/2021: who did what and when.
How to view it
Go to Settings → Activity from the panel. Available to every role (Owner, Administrator, and Member).
What is recorded
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Reservations | Create, edit, validate, submit to Ministry, archive, annul, reactivate |
| Guests | Add, edit, complete check-in, sign, re-open their data, export CSV |
| Accommodations | Create, edit, activate, deactivate |
| SES credentials | Create, edit, delete, test connection |
| Team | Invite, accept invitation, change role, remove member |
| Calendars (iCal) | Reservation created, archived, or dates updated from a calendar; sync; reservation flagged "needs annulment" |
| Ministry | Acceptance, rejection, annulment |
Not recorded
Sign-ins, password changes, and billing events do not appear in this log — they live elsewhere (security audit, Polar portal) and mixing them would create noise.
Immutability
The log is immutable: once an action is logged, it cannot be edited or deleted. That property is what makes it valid evidence in an inspection. If an action is reverted (for example, a validation that's later undone), it's logged as a second entry — the original stays as history.
Filters
You can filter by:
- Date — from and to.
- Event type — reservation, guest, accommodation, team, etc.
- User — which team member performed the action.
- Specific reservation or accommodation — to audit a particular case.
Retention
Log entries are kept as long as the agency exists, with no expiry. When a user deletes their account, their name is anonymized in past entries but the entries remain (legal compliance). The content of the actions (which reservation, what change) is not deleted.
Why it matters for Royal Decree 933/2021
In case of an inspection, the activity log demonstrates:
- That you collected each guest's data.
- That you submitted the report to the Ministry on time.
- Which team member handled the reservation.
- If there were corrections, when and why.
That traceability is your best protection against penalties for alleged omission, especially when the real cause was a technical issue or a delay on the Ministry's side.
