What is RegistroViajero
RegistroViajero is an online platform that simplifies Royal Decree 933/2021 compliance for tourist accommodations in Spain. It collects guest data, verifies identity documents, and automatically submits the mandatory reports to the Ministry of the Interior.
How it works
1. Register your accommodations
Add each of your accommodations with its address, type (apartment, hotel, rural house, etc.), and establishment code issued by the Ministry. You can manage multiple accommodations from a single agency account.
2. Create reservations
When you receive a booking, create it by setting the check-in and check-out dates. You can also import reservations automatically from platforms like Booking.com, Airbnb, or VRBO by connecting their iCal calendar.
3. Send the check-in link
Each guest receives a unique link. No sign-up, no installation — they open the link on their phone or browser and fill in their details.
4. Review and validate
Once every guest has completed their data, review it and mark the reservation as validated.
5. Submit to the Ministry
With one click, RegistroViajero generates the XML documents, compresses them, and submits them to SES.HOSPEDAJES at the Ministry of the Interior.
Requirements to get started
- Agency details: trading name and CIF/NIF
- Accommodation details: address, type, establishment code
- SES.HOSPEDAJES credentials: username, password, and lessor code issued by the Ministry
- Web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge (current versions)
TIP
If you don't have Ministry credentials yet, you can still use RegistroViajero to manage reservations and collect guest data. Ministry submission can be enabled later.
